Lloyd E. Bosland

Lloyd "Joe" E. Bosland, age 80, peacefully passed away on Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at his residence. Born in Paterson to the late Nicholas and Elfrieda (Voelkner) Bosland, Lloyd lived in Wantage before moving to Dingmans Ferry, Pa., in 2004. Mr. Bosland was a truck driver for Passaic Crushed Stone, retiring in 1996. He was predeceased by his father, Nicholas in 1946; his mother, Elfrieda in 1992; and his brother, Nicholas Bosland in 2005. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Arlene L. (Hill); his children, Russell Bosland and his wife Tammy of Brookfield, Ohio, Kim Douglass and her fiance, Ryan Fitzpatrick, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., Christine Dressel and her husband Jason of Milford, Conn., Barry Douglass and his wife Leigh of Highland Lakes, Diana Stewart and her husband Thomas, Jr. of Barryville, NY, and Teresa Van Horn and her husband Dale of Tennessee; his sister, Martha Venard and her husband Walter of Bernardsville; and his eight grandchildren, Brandi Bosland, Stephen Yount, Tyler Douglass, Logan Dressel, Dylan Dressel, Christopher Van Horn, Brandon Van Horn, and Thomas Stewart, III. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, at the the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Friends may pay their respects to the family from 2-4 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Private cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family.
