Isabel Russell, 78, passed away at Newton Medical Center, Newton on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. Isabel was born on Sept. 27, 1939, in Hawthorn, N.J., to the late Pater and Grace Bosma. Isabel has been a longtime resident of Wantage Twp.
Isabel was a biller for the Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. for 25 years retiring in 2001. Isabel was a member of the Frankford Seniors, a member of the Christian Reformed Church, enjoyed taking art classes for water color painting art work, loved to travel, and was at her grandchildren’s sports events.
Isabel was predeceased by her husband William Henry Russell in 2015.
Isabel was the devoted mother of Laura Hedderick and her husband Richard of Hampton Twp., William H. Russell Jr. and his companion Ellen Felde of Wantage Twp., and Steven D. Russell and his wife Wendy of Fredon Twp., and a loving grandmother of Bryan Hedderick and his wife Lauren, William Hedderick, Kayleigh, Christopher, Matthew, and Shane Russell, and dear sister of Janice Hocking of Sussex and John Bosma and his wife Nancy of California.
The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home 27 Third Street, Sussex, N.J., on Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be Wednesday February 21st at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Clove Cemetery Wantage Twp.
