William Robert Predmore Sr., 74, passed away on Wednesday at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ. Born in Vernon and resided there most of his life before moving to Montague in 2003.
He was a maintenance supervisor for the Wallkill Valley Hospital for 23 years before retiring. Had a part-time driveway seal coating and snow plowing business for many years. Was a member of the Tri-State Rod and Gun Club, Port Jervis, N.Y. Was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Was a lifelong dirt car enthusiast and spent many years in the Orange County Speed Way.
William was predeceased by his parents William and Amelia Predmore, and a sister, Jean Sartell and his brother, Donald and Warren.
Survived by his wife, Janice, sons, William and his wife Renee of South Carolina, Timothy and his wife Michelle of Pennsylvania, Steven and Liz Slate of Vernon, and his brothers, Clifford of Montague and Kenneth of Vernon, stepsons, William Todd of Vernon and Brian Todd and his wife Heather of Eastampton, and his six grandchildren, Julia, Katrina and Deborah Todd, Chase and Seth Predmore and Chelsea Parris.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 3320 Sate Highway 94, Hamburg, NJ.
