    Feb. 9Jack Elston, Jr., 40, of Newton was sentenced to three years of probation, must obtain and maintain employment, obtain GED and pay fines and fees.
    Elston was given 17 days jail credit.
    He pleaded guilty on Dec. 18 to one count of failure to notify of an address change, a third-degree crime.
    Feb. 12John Seeger, 56, of Stockholm pleaded guilty to certain persons not have a weapon, a crime of the third degree.
    Sentencing is scheduled for April 13.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted that on or about Feb. 25, 2016, while subject to a Final Restraining Order prohibiting the possession of a Firearm, did possess multiple firearms, a crime of the third degree.
    Feb. 13Nicole A. Okken, 26, of Franklin pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a crime of the third degree and to a violation of her current probation. Sentencing is presently scheduled for March 23, 2018.
    The defendant admitted she was in possession of heroin and cocaine while a passenger during a motor vehicle stop by Sparta police in January of this year.
    Daniel O’Bryan, 48, of Sandyston pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary, nine counts of third-degree burglary, six counts of third degree conspiracy to commit burglary, ,nine counts of third-degree theft, third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, third-degree criminal mischief, five counts third degree unlawful possession of a weapon and fourth-degree illegal transport of a weapon.
    Sentencing is scheduled for April 20.
    The defendant admitted in 2016 he burglarizing multiple homes in Sandyston, Montague, Wantage, Hampton, Frankford and Branchville in Sussex County and White Township in Warren County in April of 2017. Various items were taken from these homes, including but not limited to, generators, weapons, cash, televisions, cameras and jewelry. He also admitted to transporting the weapons to Paterson with his co-defendants, where he exchanged them for drugs.
    Kimberly E. Kerton, 42, of Franklin pleaded guilty to failure to make lawful disposition, a third-degree crime.
    Sentencing is scheduled for April 6.
    In pleading guilty the defendant admitted that from Augustb2013 to June, 2016 to failing to use her son’s monthly benefits, amounting to more than $500, intended for his care and support and instead using it for her own personal benefit.
    The case were investigated by Detective Nevin J.Mattessich of the Franklin Police Department and Detective Paul Mueller of the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.
    Kelly M. Willard. 38, of Ogdensburg pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property, a crime of the third degree and fourth-degree illegal transportation of weapons.
    Sentencing is scheduled for April 6.
    The defendant admitted to accepting laptops, jewelry and various other items into her residence knowing that they were stolen from several Sussex County homes. She also admitted to driving with co-defendants to Paterson illegally transporting weapons taken during a burglary by a co-defendant, which were later sold for drugs.
    Edward Bochinski, 34, of Sussex pleaded guilty to strict liability for drug-induced death, a first-degree crime. He also pleaded guilty, in an additional matter, to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
    Sentencing is scheduled for April 6.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to distributing or dispensing heroin to an individual in Wantage Township on August 21, 2015, whose death was the result of ingesting the heroin. He also admitted to being in possession of heroin when stopped by Sparta Police for a motor vehicle violation in January of 2018.
    Alexa Awad, 27, of Newton pleaded guilty to third-degree theft and to a violation of her current probation.
    Sentencing is scheduled for April 6.
    The defendant admitted she took over $500.00 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s Department Store.
    Feb. 16Brian Liljestrand, 39, of Honesdale, Pa., was sentenced to three years of probation. He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, complete 200 hours of community service work and 12 hours at the Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center, submit to random urine screenings, attend two NA/AA meetings per week, provide a DNA sample, continue and complete the Path outpatient program in Pennsylvania, and pay fines and fees totaling $2,519 and restitution of $107.98. His driver's license was ordered suspended for seven months.
    He pleaded guilty on Nov. 27, 2017, to possession of a controlled Dangerous substance and forgery, both third-degree crimes, and driving under the influence, a motor vehicle offense.
    The defendant was stopped on June 16 in Lafayette for a motor vehicle offense and was in possession of heroin and driving under the influence. He also paid for merchandise with a fake $100 bill on Sept. 1, 2017, in Frankford.
