Jo-Ann Curving

Jo-Ann Curving (nee Grames), 67 years old, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. Born to Joseph and Anna Grames in Paterson, N.J., she had lived in Hardyston Twp. and Bloomingdale before moving to Franklin, N.J., 2 years ago.
Jo-Ann was a dedicated homemaker, caring for her family and doting on her many grandchildren.
Jo-Ann is predeceased by her husband, Russell Curving, Jr.(2001) and 2 sisters, Gloria Sherman and Margaret Mault and is the devoted mother of Russell Curving and his fiancée, Erika Lara of West Milford, N.J., Kimberly Grieder and her husband, Mark, of Vernon Twp., NJ, Paula Curving of Lincoln Park, N.J., Ryan Curving and his wife, Awilda, of West Milford, N.J., Melissa Bressette and her husband, Eugene, of Bloomingdale, N.J., and Jennifer Clapp and her husband, Matthew, of Stockholm, N.J. Cherished by 19 grandchildren and a great grandson. Dear sister of David Grames of Montclair, N.J., and Dorothy Smith of Pequannock Twp., N.J. Sister-in-law of Doris Mercuri of Anderson, S.C.
The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, N.J., on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 11 to 1 p.m. Cremation is private.
