Anne M. (Slockbower) Silling

Anne M. (Slockbower) Silling, age 81, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at her residence while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Minisink, N.Y., to the late Earl and Alice (Cosh) Slockbower, Anne lived in the Westtown-Unionville area most of her life. She was a driver for the Times Herald-Record newspaper before her retirement fifteen years ago.
She was predeceased by her sister, Janice Slockbower; her longtime companion, James Bosserman; her former husband, William Silling; her brother-in-law, Alden Lain; and her sister-in-law, Yvonne Slockbower.
Anne is survived by her son, Michael of Unionville, New York; her daughters, Brenda Dillin and her husband James of Campbell Hall, N.Y.,, Vickie Sinsabaugh and her husband, John, of Montogomery, N.Y.,, Judy Silling of Unionville, N.Y.,, and Linda Duffus and her husband John of Cuddlebackville, N.Y.,; her two brothers, John A. Slockbower of Unionville, N.Y., and Richard E. Slockbower and his wife, Victoria of Circleville, N.Y.,; her sisters, Betty Slockbower of Unionville, N.Y., Nancy Lain of Wantage, N.J., Peggy Baker and her husband, Orie, of Cooperstown, N.Y., and Diane Suhocki and her husband, Dennis, of Richfield Spring, N.Y.; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
Interment will immediately follow at Unionville Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Sunday, March 11, 2018, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
