    — A 10-year-old boy accused of emailing threats that caused three New Jersey school districts to close has been criminally charged.
The Courier Post on Thursday reports the Franklin district student was charged with making terroristic threats and causing a false public alarm.
Schools in the Franklin, Delsea and Elk Township districts closed Thursday as a precautionary measure.
Authorities say the boy sent messages to teachers and school administrators claiming that there would be shootings at two different schools Thursday and Friday of last week. He has been released pending a psychological evaluation.
