Vernon senior signs with East Stroudsburg

VERNON — Vernon Township High School senior Mike Stefkovich signed his letter of intent to play Division II football at East Stroudsburg University.
Stefkovich has been an All-League first-team award winner the last three seasons as a running back and linebacker. Mike will bring a tremendous amount of leadership, dedication, commitment and hard work to ESU.
According to Coach Chuck Tepper, Mike was never a "Me" guy. He always did what was best for the team. He also the only 4-year Varsity letter winner in Vernon's Football History.
