The 4th Annual Beefsteak Fundraiser to support the Vernon Dog Park will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 7-10 p.m at the Highland Lakes Fire House.
Attendees can enjoy a night of mouth-watering beefsteak cooked up by Highland Lakes FD, bid on gift baskets from local vendors, and participate in a 50-50. The menu includes beefsteak, relish trays, potatoes, pretzels, potato chips, dessert, soda, and coffee/tea. It’s also BYOB. The cost is $45/person and those wishing to attend can get tickets by emailing dogsofvernon@yahoo.com or calling 201-696-7876.
All proceeds benefit the Vernon Dog Park, which provides a safe, healthy place for the 5,000+ local dogs to get proper exercise and socialization. The park is run by D.O.G.S. of Vernon, a nonprofit that depends completely on the donations of patrons, citizens, and local vendors to maintain the facilities.
