Law firm plans HR boot camp

SPARTA — The law firm of Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP will host a full-day seminar on April 19 that will focus on employment law basics for business owners and human resource professionals at small and mid-sized businesses. Experienced attorneys will explore the legal obligations of employers and key business decisions employers have to make regarding their employees.
Speakers at the HR Bootcamp will be Laddey, Clark & Ryan attorneys Jessica Jansyn, Thomas Ryan, and Ursula Leo. Featured topics will include: sexual harassment and discrimination claims, hiring employees, employment agreements, employee policies and handbooks, wage and hour law, leave laws, employee claims, internal investigations, and termination.
The event will be held at the Rockaway River County Club in Rockaway. It will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m.
