Vernal pools hike planned at Lusscroft Farm

WANTAGE — The annual Vernal Pools Hike at Lusscroft Farm will be held on Sunday, April 15, from 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Join other hikers for a fun and informative hike on the beautiful trails of Lusscroft Farm, 50 Neilson Rd. & 4-H Trail, Wantage. Meet in the parking lot by the Lusscroft Manor House. The hike is led by Kevin Mitchell, who once lived and worked at this historic farm. Kevin will guide visitors to discover the vernal pools at Lusscroft and introduce them to the fascinating creatures that inhabit them. Dress appropriately for the weather; children must be accompanied by a responsible adult; dogs are welcome but must be leashed. Preregistration is helpful for Kevin and can be emailed to lusscroftfarm@gmail.com.
