AUGUSTA — The 9th annual Rock, Ribs & Ridges festival is offering local talent the opportunity to perform at this year’s summer festival.

Presented by Franklin Sussex Auto Mall, the two-day summer bash offers two days of great music and mouthwatering BBQ as legendary artists and top competitive rib teams from around the country heat up this summer’s outdoor concert season. Country music superstar Travis Tritt, The Outlaws, and Foghat head this year’s lineup.

Producers of the annual outdoor music and food festival are hosting an online Artist Discovery Contest competition to provide local, independent and unsigned talent with the chance of being selected to perform at this year’s festival at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, N.J.

The winning selected artists will receive $100 for a solo act or $250 for an act with two or more members.

The festival has two evening slots open to play on the festival’s Main Stage in front of more than 750 expected weekend campers on Friday, June 22, at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 23 at 9:45 p.m. All performances are for one hour.

Music showcase applications are open to solo, duo acts and/or full bands.
