No Democrats for Freeholder? Bad

The idea that there are no Democrats for Freeholder should disturb any newspaper so I hope the Editorial staff will take notice! I praised Kelly Hart for getting Republicans elected and note that Jonathan Rose is a good Freeholder, but the primary should never be the end of a voting decision.
What I notice with political parties is there are too many seat jockeys, and this is true with all parties even here! Sussex County deserves elections with two or more parties in November, including the Green Party, Party operatives need to get out, as my friend Joe Masur of the GOP did, and he was simply great.
This paper may remember when I was one of the few Sussex County people on the ballot in 1993 as a Democrat, because the local chair demanded no candidates, This hurt chances of the few local candidates. The Dems will field again only 6 local party contests. That is deplorable. We also need primary challenges. Why? For interest.
I ran anyway against Scott Garrett and Dick Kamin for the Assembly. I debated them till they stopped showing up and then the State Party put me up against Republicans with names like Bateman.
Decisions on elections should emanate not from Trenton or candidatas for higher office, but from here. Editorials from editors are wanted.
