The Barbara Sklar Studio held an art exhibit on May 17 displaying the creative works of Vernon resident Victor Sansone. Sansone's creations all have earth friendly themes, always contain a double representation to represent Sansone and his daughter.
One of his works is of 9/11.
The painting shows the two damaged towers with nine birds representing nine friends of the artist who were lost in the 2001 tragedy. The birds are actual shards of metal from the buildings and are affixed to the canvas with magnets.
