GREENWOOD LAKE — Greenwood Lake Public Library’s Art Gallery presents the work of graphic and ink artist Bruce Young for the month of June.
A longtime New Jersey resident, Young attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art in the late sixties, concentrating on painting the human form in oils.
For the past 15 years, he has been concentrating on pen and ink drawings of architecture. Most recently, his focus has been directed to scenes of New York City, which he said is “an endless source of vibrant subject matter.”
He also works in pastel, graphite, oils and watercolor as well as airbrush art. Young’s work also may be found at the Skylands Gallery in Wantage, N.J.
Greenwood Lake Public Library is located at 79 Waterstone Road in the Village of Greenwood Lake. For more information, call 845 477-8377 ext. 104.
