Kathleen S. Steelman

Kathleen S. Steelman, age 70, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at her residence in Vernon. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John and Anna Louise (Conroy) Clairdy, Mrs. Steelman has lived in New Jersey for the past 40 years. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening and was involved with the Spring Fest Garden Show held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Frederick; her devoted daughter, Lori Anne Murphy and her significant other Jay Hughson of Wantage; her dear brother, Jack Clairdy and his wife Karen of Las Vegas, Nevada; her dear sister, LuAnne Pell and her husband Kenneth of Pittsburgh, Pa.; her brother and sister-in-laws, Phillip and Connie Steelman of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her nieces and nephews.
Private cremation services are under the direction of the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
