Seven arrested in drug probe
VERNON — Six people, including two juveniles, face charges after Vernon Township police, with the assistance of the Sussex County Narcotics Talks force executed a search warrant at a White Birch Drive West residence at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 17.
Joseph Hartman, 18, of Vernon was charged with three counts of marijuana, a crime of the fourth degree, three counts of possession/distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone, a crime of the third degree, possession of 10 or more marijuana plants, a crime of the second degree, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, a disorderly person's offense.
Deborah L. Schwadtke, 41; Zachary Schwadtke, 30, and Angelica Gonzales, 19, both of Vernon; were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with three counts of distribution of marijuana, a crime of the fourth-degree crime, three counts of possession/distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone, a crime of the the third degree, possession of 10 marijuana plants, a crime of the second degree, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia, a disorderly person's offense.
Two other 17-year-olds were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
All suspects were released pending Superior Court appearances.
