Vernon Cyclones 8U earn top seed in playoffs

VERNON — After winning their last two regular season games on June 2nd, the Vernon Cyclone 8U team is on their way to the playoffs as the 1st seed in their division, National North.
The Cyclones’ season started with a no hitter against Roxbury; the team then went on to defeat Chatham, Long Valley and Hackettstown.
According to head coach John Tucker, “Our boys have been amazing all season long. I couldn’t be any prouder of them. They’ve had tough wins and a put up a good fight, but still came out on top every time. Two more wins and the championship is ours. They’ve made my job easy.”
