Vernon to host fireworks

The 23rd annual fireworks display will be sponsored by the Highland Lakes and Vernon Volunteer Fire Dept. on Saturday, June 30 at the Lounsberry Hollow Midddle School on Sammis Road.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $20 for a group of four.

The rain date will be the Sunday, July 1 or next clear night.

All proceeds benefit the Highland Lakes and Vernon Volunteer Fire Depts.
