WANTAGE — Lusscroft Day is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sturday, July 7, at Lusscroft Farm in Wantage.
This beautiful and historic farm will be hosting a fun variety of events to appeal to everyone! There will be wagon rides, antique tractors, a silent auction, kids’ activities, a bake sale, a 50/50, a tack sale for horse lovers, crafts and games, and of course, food. Free Blood pressure and sugar screenings will be available. In the Manor House at 1 p.m. there will be a talk about the local Munsee/Lenape Indian culture — then and now — presented by Dr. Robin Hill Chandler. She will discuss their arrival in New Jersey, how they lived, and later how they interacted with colonists up to today.
A $5 donation is requested for this presentation. For garage sale lovers, the iconic Lusscroft Main Barn will be open for shoppers — and you can name the price. The barn has just been restocked with vintage items, collectibles, books, man cave decorations, furniture, toys and more! Don’t miss this one as it’s the last Barn sale for the season.
Lusscroft Farm is located at 50 Neilson Road and 4-H Trail in Wantage, and an alternate entrance will be available from County Route 519 at mile marker 81 at the Lusscroft stone gatehouse.
