The Life Skills students at Vernon Township High School attended a field trip to Philadelphia this month, an adventure they were well-prepared for by the Life Skills, history, multimedia and career and vocations teachers.
Each student researched and studied the human body systems. The students were able to interact with these exhibits at the Franklin Institute Museum. The students researched and studied the famous landmarks of Philadelphia.
The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Presidents House, and Independence National Historic Park were just a few of these landmarks that the students were able to visit. This field trip was the culmination of a year study of History and Science.
