Two sisters donated their hair to Wigs for Kids, a non-profit hair donation organization that has been serving children suffering from hair loss since 1981.
Gabryella Abbott, 8, donated 12 inches of hair to wigs for kids. This is her third time donating in three years. When asked why she keeps donating her hair she says "it makes her feel good that she's helping a kid that dosent have any".
Amilya Abbott, 5, wanted to follow in her big sister's footsteps so she decided to donate as well. Amilya plans to keep growing and hopefully donating again like her sister.
Both sisters will attend Ogdensburg school in the fall. Gabryella will enter fourth grade and Amilya will start kindergarten.
