VERNON — Peace, love, and good vibes were in the air at the annual Vernon Senior Picnic on Tuesday, June 26 .
With a 60’s hippie theme, the Jane Damstra and her crew transformed the Vernon PAL Pavilion into a groovy scene where tie dyed clothing, flower power and funky music specific to this era took the center stage as the Vernon Seniors showed their best moves doing “The Hustle”!
Laden with signs of peace and love, everyone enjoyed the beautiful afternoon while feasting on delicious picnic fare catered by Smokey’s Brick Oven Tavern and of course a picnic just wouldn’t be a picnic without Pixie Pop the Clown painting faces and Scoops Ice Cream!
