Lawyer speaks at State Bar's diverity summit

Thomas H. Prol, a partner at Laddey Clark & Ryan, LLP and past president of the New Jersey State Bar Association, was a speaker at the Diversity Summit, presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the Bar Association’s Diversity Committee, and held at the New Jersey Law Center on June 28.
Prol spoke in the program “In Pursuit of a More Perfect Union: Combatting Bias, Discrimination and Intolerance.”
Prol, the first openly gay president of the state bar and a member of the governing body of the American Bar Association, is highly regarded for his visible efforts and activism in emphasizing access to justice and opportunities, as well as diversity and inclusion, during his career.
