Robert Paul Phillips

Robert Paul Phillips, 72, passed away on July 6, 2018. Robert was born on June 5, 1946 in Paterson, NJ and was the son of Edward and Isabel (nee Soma) Phillips.
Robert served in the United Sates Army in Vietnam and was a light weapons infantry specialist First Cav unit during his tour of duty he received his combat badge and distinguished service medal Robert also received numerous campaign medals Robert served he US Army with valor and honor and was discharges with impeccable conduct and honor. Robert was a General Contractor and owner operator of the R. P. Phillips Painting and Power Washing Company.
Robert was pre-deceased by his parents and a brother Michael Phillips.
Robert is survived by his sons, Bobby Phillips of South Carolina, Dwayne Phillips and Ryan Phillips both of Vernon, and his three grandchildren, Austin, Cierra, and Leonardo, and his five brothers, Gary, Glen, Guy, Patrick and Rod Phillips, and his four sisters, Florence, Dorothy, Diane and Laura Phillips.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend gravesite services on Friday July 20th at 1PM at Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery North Church Road, Sparta, NJ.
