The Center for Prevention and Counseling is hosting a C.L.E.A.R. Program Drop-in for Recovery from 2-4 p.m. at the Sussex Borough Municipal Building at 2 Main St., Sussex, NJ 07461.

This informal event is free to all and offers the public the ability to drop by, with no appointment necessary, to talk with a recovery coach, professional counselor and/or other volunteers to be guided through the process of seeking help for addiction and recovery.

Recovery Support Staff from The Center along with members of the Sussex County Recovery Advocacy and Recovery Support group host “Drop in for Recovery” opportunities to assist community members overwhelmed at the prospect of having to navigate the task of looking for help for addiction themselves. Recovery Coach volunteers donate their time to be available at these events where they offer companionship, stage-appropriate recovery education as well as information regarding local recovery resources and other support services.

Anyone interested can drop in between 2-4 p.m. or call ahead and speak to someone about available services. For more information, contact Katie at The Center for Prevention and Counseling at (973)940-2966 or email katie@centerforprevention.org.
