Libraries to host drum circles

VERNON — As part of the ongoing Libraries Rock! summer reading program, the Sussex County Library System will host two Djembe Drum Circles on Saturday, July 28: Dorothy Henry, 66 Route 94 in Vernon at 1:30 p.m.; and the Sussex-Wantage Branch, 69 Route 639 in Wantage at 3:30 p.m.
Participants will be encouraged to dance and sing as they learn all about the hand drums of Africa, including the Djembe, Talking Drum, Shekere and more. The family-friendly program concludes with a traditional African Drum Circle. All ages welcome.
