Joanne Patricia Geng

Joanne Patricia Geng(nee Cusick), 84 years old, died after a short illness at Commonwealth Regional Hospital, Scranton, PA on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Born to James and Laura Cusick in South Bend, Ind., she had lived in Wantage Twp., N.J., for many years before moving to Shohola, Pa., in 1996.
Joanne was a dedicated homemaker, an accomplished artist and seamstress and enjoyed book collecting. She was a doting wife, mother and especially “Nana”.
Joanne is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence J. Geng and 5 brothers and sisters and is the devoted mother of Daniel Geng and his wife, Carol of Shohola, Pa., and Patricia “Trish” Bartlett and her fiancée, Charles Loomis of Highland Lakes, N.J. Loving “Nana” of John L. Bartlett. Dear sister of Shirley Vicari of Port Orange, FL. Cherished by 4 sister in laws and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 21 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at noon. Interment to follow at Clove Cemetery, Wantage Twp., NJ.
