Pizazz! wins at competition

VERNON — Pizazz! Dance Academy Elite Team won numerous awards at That's Entertainment Performing Competition in Margate.
The team won six first-place awards, and one second place "category" awards and one first overall and two second overall and one third overall highg score awards, two Judges Awards and a studio "Creativity" Award.
"Wind It Up" Jazz Group won 1st Place in Category, second place Overall, Platinum and a "Firecracker" Judges' Award.
"Warrior" Lyrical Trio earned 1st Place in Category, and 3rd Overall and Solid Gold Plus.
"Whistle While You Work It", Devan Meggiolaro's Open Solo, received 1st Place in Category, 2nd Place Overall and Solid Gold Plus.
"My Big French Boyfriend", Katie Molini's Musical Theatre Solo, garnered 1st Place in Category, 1st Place Overall High Score, Solid Gold Plus and a "Brighter Than Sunshine" Judges' Award.
"Keep On", Morgan Mulvaney's Jazz Solo, took first place in Category and Solid Gold.
"Cruella deVil", Stephanie Longo's Jazz Solo, earned 1st Place in Category and Solid Gold.
"Evil Like Me", Talia Greenwood's Musical Theatre Solo, received 2nd Place in Category and Solid Gold.
"Wind It Up" also competed at the invitation-only World Dance Championship on July 30th at the Meadowlands Expo Convention Center in Secaucus, NJ as a Semi-Finalist.
Golden Ticket Invitations are awarded to a select few at Star Dance Alliance Regional Competitions. It's a great honor to compete against other countries' and all representatives of United States' prized dance companies.
