James Diorio

James Diorio, age 51, passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at Newton Medical Center.
Born in Paterson, he had lived in Vernon for most of his life. Jim had been a self-employed home improvement contractor, owning and operating JD Custom Painting and Home Improvements. He was a talented musician and enjoyed playing guitar, drums, and piano. He was predeceased by his father, John Diorio, Jr. in 1975. Jim is survived by his mother, Iva H. Diorio of Sussex; his brothers, John Diorio III of Sussex and Jay Diorio and his wife Elizabeth of Stillwater; his sister, Jodi Falanga and her husband Robert of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; his nephew, Richard; his nieces, Erin, April, Brittany, and Meghan; his grand nieces, Madison and Lillian; and his loving companion, Teresa Haugen of Vernon. A celebration of life Service will be held at a later date.
