    Catherine Henckel, daughter of Peter & Carla Henckel of Sussex Borough, was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree, magna cum laude, in Bio-Chemistry at the 142nd Commencement of Boston College on Monday, May 21.
    Catherine is a 2014 graduate of High Point Regional High School in Wantage. At Boston College, she was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Boston College Chapter of the Jesuit Honor Society and a member of Boston College Marching Band and the Pep Band for 4 years. She was the blood drive coordinator for the Red Cross club and President of the Women in Science Club for 3 years.
    Catherine plans on taking a year off, working in the Bio-Chemical research field, before starting medical school in the Fall of 2019.
    Lauren Ruggiero of Vernon was named to the academic honors list for the fall 2017 and the spring 2018 semesters at Fairleigh Dickinson University, as well as being elected President of her sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon, for the 2017-18 year. Lauren was also accepted into the 5-year-accelerated masters program for industrial psychology at FDU.
    Mike Harboy of Sussex has made the dean's list for the spring and final semester of his senior year at York College, York Pennsylvania.
    He is a 2018 graduate.
    Richard Nathaniel Slaff of Sussex has graduated from Hartwick College.
