Laurence E. Novak

Lawrence E. Novak, 79, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018. Larry was born on February 14, 1939 in New York City, N.Y., to Charles and Evelyn (nee Ohnemus) Novak. Larry was a longtime resident of Wantage Township.
Larry was a Dairy Farmer and was a Teacher for 30 years at Schuyler Colfax Middle School in Wayne, NJ. Larry was a foster parent for 45 years.
Larry was predeceased by a son, Bruce in 1985.
Larry is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Cheryl (nee Bentley) Novak, and his children, Sue-Ann Novak, of Boston, MA, Lee-Ann Novak of Wantage, Michael Novak and his wife Gena of Newton, Christina Novak of Clifton, Martin Novak of Arizona, Dale Novak of Wantage, Teddy Novak of Wantage, David Schumann and his wife Lydia of PA, Ron Birchenough and his wife Barbara of Wantage, Ray Crane and his wife Liz of Montague and Amanda Toth of Wantage, and his 16 grandchildren and his loving great grandchildren, and best friends for 52 years, Neil and Aimee Nilsen.
