John E. Jacobson

John E. Jacobson, 70, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018. John was born on March 4, 1948, to James E. Jacobson and Marie V. (nee Sackett) Jacobson in New Brunswick, N.J.
John served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed General Contractor.
John loved the home he built in 1986, He always had a project going on in the home especially outside where he could often be found on his back hoe. John was an avid race car fan and watched all the races in his leisure time.
John was predeceased by his parents and two sons Robert and Joseph Caron.
John survived by his beloved wife, Catherine A. (Cathy J.) (nee Walchko) of 43 years, his brother Bert Jacobson and his wife Diane, their sons Adam and Keith, and his grand daughter Haleigh Caron.
Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday Aug. 22 from 2-6 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home, Route 94 Vernon, N.J., and are invited to attend funeral services at the funeral home on Thursday August 23rd at 11AM, interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
