NEWTON — The Sussex Stags defeated the Garden State Gladiators on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018. The final score of the semi-pro football game was 29-0.
The Stags have accomplished an 8-1 record so far this season. Thus far the Brooklyn Seminoles are the only team to defeat the Sussex Stags by the score of 40-0.
That game took place earlier this month.
The Harlem Gators (New York City) will be the next team to take on the Stags. The Stags will host the Gators on their home turf at on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. The school's address is 44 Ryerson Ave. Newton, New Jersey.
