Have you ever wanted to explore Cuba or Imperial Morocco?
Now is the time to connect with Peters Valley and their 2018 and 2019 trips to both locations.
On Nov. 10 through 17, Peters Valley is hosting a one-of-a-kind trip to Cuba, designed to experience the arts, crafts, and culture of this unique island nation at a historic time of change.
Join the seven-night tour, conceived in partnership with Cuba Educational Travel, the leading organizer of group travel to the island.
The tour includes a trip to Havana and to charming and quaint Trinidad. Spend three nights in the picturesque and vibrant Vedado district of Havana, then two nights in colonial Trinidad at a lovely bed and breakfast, then back to Havana for the last two evenings.
Travelers will meet with ceramists, mosaic artists, and photographers as well as experience hands-on demonstrations with print makers and other artisans as we explore the creative energy of the island and its people.

On May 7 through 17, the group heads to Morocco, which has a rich fine craft tradition spanning millennia, influenced by Andalusian, European, Arab and Jewish populations and fused with Berber traditions.
Travelers will visit the medieval city of Fez, the imperial city of Meknes, the artisan centers of Sefrou and the High Atlas Mountains and end in iconic Marrakesh.
We’ll travel though gorgeous rural landscapes and thriving old cities, meeting with local craftsmen and learning about their work first hand, with lectures and hands-on demonstrations.
The program includes looks at tile making, wood and stucco carving, metal working, ceramics, weaving and leather work, as well as photography and high-end historic restoration work.
For this trip, Peters Valley has partnered with Distant Horizons, a leader in cultural and educational group travel.
Peters Valley has chosen a beautiful one-of-a-kind boutique hotel properties. Executive Director of Peters Valley Kristin Muller will be joining us on the trip, and we’ll be accompanied throughout by one of Morocco's top bi-lingual guides.
