Charles Lance Muller, 69, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his home in South Glens Falls, NY.
Born July 1, 1949 in Morristown, NJ he was the son of the late Charles and Eleanor (Lance) Muller. He graduated from Boonton High School Class of 1967. After graduation he attended Farleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ. Charles attended Christ Episcopal Church in Newton, NJ and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He was the owner and operator of Elcam Printing Company in Fairfield, NJ. After retirement, Charles was a school bus driver for Saratoga Springs City School District and worked for the Saratoga Race Track as a mutuel teller. In 1986 he married Lynn J. Mueller in Jefferson, NJ.
Charles had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sail boating along the Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Coast as well as history, reading, model trains, traveling and spending time with his family. Even though Charles passed at a young age, he would say, “I had a great run and few regrets.” He proudly joined the National guard in 1967 and was stationed in Fort Drum. In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his son, Gregory Muller; nephew, Damon M. Jones. Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lynn J. Muller; sons, Alexander Muller and his fiancé Leah and Benjamin Muller and his significant other, Talia; his sisters, Lucia M. Worman and her husband Charles “Van”, and Maureen M. Caruso and her husband Michael; sister-in-law, Susan Cook and her husband Bill; nephews, Shad, Trevor, Adam, Will, and Steven; nieces, Laurie and Carly; great nephews, Francis and Peter; great nieces, Erin, Arielle, Melissa, Violet, and Celia.
A celebration of life will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Newton, NJ on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at 11:30am. Memorial donations in Charles’s memory can be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital 502 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 136 Main.
