Edwin S. Holbrook, age 94, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at his residence. Born in West Orange to the late Steinmann and May Holbrook, he had lived in Wantage for many years. Mr. Holbrook served in the United States Army during World War II and spent most of his service time in Europe. Mr. Holbrook was awarded a Bronze Star for his commitment to his Country and joined the VFW, where he remained a lifetime member. He had been a self-employed skilled craftsman and enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Holbrook was predeceased by his wife, Shirley L. and his daughter, Gail E. Havens in 2016. He is survived by his grandchildren, Saundra Jung, Eric Havens, and Christopher Havens all of Wantage; five great grandchildren; and his son-in-law, Wilbur Havens of Wantage.
