For over 70 years, St. Anthony Community Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) has been an integral part of the Village of Warwick and surrounding communities. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency care, obstetrical, radiological and acute-care services, but the busiest department is the Department of Surgery.
St. Anthony Community Hospital's Department of Surgical Services consists of four state-of-the-art operating rooms with the ability to perform a multitude of procedures. Our orthopedic surgeons perform patient specific shoulder replacements, total hip and total knee replacements and also repair sports injuries. In 2016, the orthopedic surgeons alone performed nearly 350 total joint replacements.
The Surgical Services Department is proud to offer the latest technology for vascular, gynecological, urological, pulmonary, ophthalmic, plastic surgery, hand, foot, same day and general surgical services.
Building upon this success, St. Anthony Community Hospital's investments in several technological advancements mean the very best care, close to home. New cutting-edge equipment includes a powerful and versatile thrombectomy system, which improves vascular surgeries that treat thrombosis. Additionally, a sinus dilation system which helps your medical team visualize the surgical area and optimizes placement during sinus surgery, is now available. An advanced, connected surgical video system has been installed to provide faster and clearer images, making minimally invasive surgeries safer and more accurate.
