Healthy Thymes to celebrate 29 years

VERNON — Healthy Thymes Market will celebrate its 29th anniversary, and the entire community is invited to join in the festivities.
Since opening their doors in 1989, Healthy Thymes Market has outgrown two previous locations to settle into the current spot, at 265 Route 94 in Vernon. The eco-friendly renovation of the former auto supply store is the pride and joy of owners Dan and Dr. Dani Segal, Ph.D. Nutrition, who see the store as an extension of their own home and lifestyles.
In addition to an ever-evolving selection of natural and organic food, Healthy Thymes Market has gluten-free groceries, an eight-tap kegerator of fresh kombucha, a wide selection of body care, essential oils, protein powders and the top vitamin and herbal lines available. Herbs and teas are available in the bulk station, and you can even grind your own nut butters and coffee. The Kitchen at Healthy Thymes Market offers organic vegetarian and vegan hot foods, soups, salads, baked goods, juices and no-ice smoothies, with a full menu covering all tastes from breakfast to dinner and dessert. Catering is available, as well.
Education is of paramount importance to the Segals, and Dr. Dani is well-known as an excellent source for gentle guidance and support, no matter where the customer is on their health journey. A frequent speaker in the community, Dr. Dani and her staff follow the adage, “first, do no harm”, and take time to help customers and clients feel comfortable and make informed choices. Connection to the community is also important, and Healthy Thymes Market proudly supports local sports teams, religious and civic groups. Anniversary specials include more than a dozen companies offering sales and samples at demo events through the end of October, including food tastings, skin care recommendations, personalized supplement suggestions and more.
