Friends of library plan book sale

    The friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library will hold their fall books sale on Friday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. unilt 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
    There will be a $3 bag sale from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday,
    Thousands of books for children and adults, audio books, DVDs, and music CDs will be available at bargain prices. A “Specials” room will feature unique and collectible books at slightly higher prices and will be open all day Friday and Saturday until 11:30 a.m. only. Customers are encouraged to bring their own grocery store-sized bags to the sale.
    Proceeds from the sale are used to provide programs and community support for the Sussex-Wantage Library. The book sale encourages reading and provides the community with inexpensive reading materials for all ages and tastes. Bring the whole family.
    Donations for the sale may be dropped off from Saturday, Oct. 20, through Wednesday, October 24, during regular library hours. Donations in good condition should be packed in small boxes or double-strength grocery bags. Donations may include hardcover and paperback books for children and adults, as well as DVDs, audiobooks, and music CDs. The group cannot accept encyclopedias, textbooks, condensed books, magazines, videos without cases, or any items in poor condition.
