Bob's Collectables to participate in ComicFest

| 22 Oct 2018 | 02:27

Bob's Collectibles, at 3640 Rt 94, in Hamburg will be participating in Halloween ComicFest this year, on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Halloween ComicFest is an annual nationwide event when local comic shops celebrate the Halloween season by giving away free comic books to fans, no purchase required. There will be comics for all age groups, each person can choose up to 3 for free! It's the perfect opportunity to introduce friends and family to all the things comic shops have to offer.
Bob's will also be hosting a non-perishable food drive that day, in conjunction with the 501st Legion (a Star Wars costuming group.) The 501st will be there in full, screen accurate Storm Trooper uniforms from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m, and will be happy to pose with you for pictures.
Bring 5 non-perishable food items and receive a free comic blind bag from Bob's (while supplies last.) Come in costume if you'd like, and participate in our costume contest.
In addition, we're excited to announce that two highly talented comic artists will be sitting down with us for a signing from 11am-2pm. Jan Duursema (best known for her work on the Star War's comics) and Tom Mandrake (who has worked on many titles, including The Spectre and Batman) are well known comic artists and have worked in the comic book industry for almost four decades.
Bob's also always carries a fully stocked inventory of comics and collectibles, along with Pokemon, Magic the Gathering & Yu-Gi-Oh and Dragonball Super cards/playing accessories. You can join us anytime for our regularly scheduled Yu-Gi-Oh & Magic the Gathering tournaments. Also feel free to walk in and browse anytime M-F 12 noon to 8pm, Saturdays 9 to 5. (Closed Sunday).
