Gloria Li Trenta, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at her residence while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manhattan, New York, to the late Thomas and Lily (Faricelli) Yannelli, Mrs. Li Trenta has lived in Wantage since 1965. She was employed by the Township of Wantage for many years. She started her career at the Wantage Municipal Building on January 1, 1974, where she worked as a secretary, heath inspector, Registrar of Vital Statistics, senior clerk typist, and Deputy Municipal Clerk. Mrs. Li Trenta was a member of the Wantage Board of Health and served as the secretary. She retired on Dec. 30, 2003. Mrs. Li Trenta was a member of St. Monica R.C. Church in Sussex and was involved with the High Point Pidgeon Flyers Club with her late husband, Paul. She also enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and spending quality time with her loving family.Mrs. Li Trenta was predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Li Trenta on April 24, 1996; her brothers, Thomas Yanelli, Rick Fragola, and Ronald Fragola; and her sisters, Lydia Dattoli, Joann Hardina, Marilyn Ergottino, and Lorraine Kearns.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Li Trenta of Greenville, New York and Gary Li Trenta and his wife Melanie of Wantage; her daughters, Paula Gordon and her husband Ed of Jeffersonton, Virginia, Jan Mulrooney and her husband Pat of Southlake, Texas, and Gena Casey and her husband Dave of Colchester, Connecticut; her brother, Raymond Fragola of New York; her eleven grandchildren, Thomas, Catie, Joey, Heidi, Paul, Gavin, Danielle, and Michelle Li Trenta, Patrick and Jillian Mulrooney, and Tyler Casey; three great grandchildren, Marvin, Tilly and Ellie; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation and service will be held at a later date in the spring of 2019. Private cremation services have been entrusted to the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
