Vernon plans active shooter program

VERNON — The Sussex County Sheriff's Office will present an "Active Shooter Civilian Response" program to explore options and strategies in a crisis situation.
Hosted by the Vernon Township Woman's Club on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Vernon Senior Center, 21 Church Street, Vernon, the program is free and open to the public.
