Massage therapists receive training

WANTAGE — Three licensed massage therapists from Garden of Life Massage & Yoga Center in Wantage received training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage at the New Jersey Massage Training Center in Parsippany, N.J.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage, MLD, helps the body remove excess lymph that may have pooled in areas of the body. This can be from a genetic disorder or most times post surgery when lymph vessels are destroyed or removed. Individuals interested in maintaining optimal health also seek MLD treatments seasonally to stay well. Lymph is a fluid in the body that removes toxins and debris, so you can see why keeping these fluids moving is beneficial to optimal health.
