Lenora Argentina

Lenora Argentina, age 92, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018. Born in Paterson to the late Giuseppe and Raffaela (Pescatore) Argentino, she lived in Butler before moving to Hamburg and then resided in Wantage for the past 19 years with her niece, Darlene Freykar and her husband Thomas. She was employed by American Cyanamide in Clifton for 45 years before her retirement in 1996.
Besides her parents, Miss. Argentina was predeceased by her nephew, Joseph Russo, Jr. She is survived by her nieces, Rochelle Markovich and her husband Ronnie of Butler, Darlene Freykar and her husband Thomas of Wantage, and Lorraine Russo of North Carolina; her nephews, Joseph Tallerico and his wife Sonia of Pompton Plains and James Tallerico and his wife Carol of Riverdale; her great nieces and nephews, John and his wife Angelica, Roseanne and her boyfriend Jason, Dara, Ronnie, Charlie and his wife Jessie, Erica, Krista, Jimmy, and Lauren; and her great great nephews and niece, Alex, Will, and Keira.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at St. Monica R.C. Church, 33 Unionville Avenue. Private cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
