Dec. 7Justin Metcalf, 29, of Vernon, was sentenced to 18 months in New Jersey State Prison. He was ordered to submit a DNA sample and pay restitution of $1,000 and fines and fees totaling $155.
He pleaded guilty on Sept. 10, 2018, to theft, a fourth-degree crime.
The defendant stole and then used an individual’s social security benefit card to withdraw money at an ATM on July 4, 2017, in Vernon.
