Dale A. Parker

Dale A. Parker, age 77, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at his residence in Unionville, New York. Born in Sussex to the late R.D. Parker and Barbara Mary (Southard) Parker, Dale lived in the Sussex-Wantage and Unionville area all of his life. He grew up on a dairy farm in Wantage and was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic for G & H Service in Newton for 43 years, retiring in 2008.
Dale was an avid hunter and fisherman all of his life and enjoyed his many trips to Maine.
He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Patricia D. Ayers of Wantage; his son, Michael Parker of Ocala, Florida; and his step-daughters, Lisa Hahne of Ottisville, New York and Kim McCloud of Fort Montgomery, New York.
Friends may pay their respects to the family on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, from 2-5 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Private funeral services and interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
