CHESTER — Debra Freeman was last weeks lucky shop local sweepstakes winner, taking home $250 for shopping locally this holiday season. Debra submitted her receipt from Sussex Meat Packing in Sussex, N.J., for entry into the contest, and took home $250 as the fifth winner so far.
The Straus News shop local sweepstakes continues through Dec. 31.
More than 275 people shopped at local advertisers and sent in their receipts so far.
Winners are chosen weekly.
