Area attorneys address municipal clerks

SPARTA — Several attorneys from Laddey Clark & Ryan, LLP addressed the Municipal Clerk Association of New Jersey (MCANJ) at its annual legal defense fund conference on Dec. 5.
Thomas H. Prol, a partner with Laddey Clark & Ryan who serves as the MCANJ’s General Counsel, presented on changes in Rice notice law, tenure and appointments. Ursula H. Leo, a partner with Laddey Clark & Ryan, addressed a wide range of employment issues, including dealing with harassment and workplace bullying, social media and compensation. Jonathan Frodella, also an attorney with Laddey Clark & Ryan, presented on OPRA (Open Public Records Act) issues, including technology issues and a proposed OPRA amendment.
