    Jan. 4Brandon Russ, 34, of Nazareth, Pa., was sentenced to three years of probation conditioned upon 180 days in jail with 90 days of parole ineligibility and credit for 114 days of time served concurrent with a Somerset County sentence. He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, complete five days of community service work, pay restitution of $858.77, submit a DNA sample and pay fines and fees totaling $155.
    He pleaded guilty on Dec. 3, 2018, to shoplifting, a third-degree crime.
    The defendant took merchandise from the Hampton Walmart on June 30, 2018, without paying.
